It’s been so long since we’ve delivered a basket of goodies to the hospital! And it’s so good for my soul to be back in the very place that we spent most of Remi’s life with her. Some people may never want to go back (which we didn’t want to for a long time), but now it takes me back to some special memories :)
Last week, we delivered a basket of goodies to the parents of baby Nicolaj. He was born way too early & has a lot of medical complications. He has already had 2 surgeries in his short life :(. Mom is staying by his side as he grows big & strong, while dad is traveling back & forth to see his sweet baby. I loved sitting & talking with Mom about her journey thus far & sharing some of our journey with her. Please pray for Nicolaj & this family over the next several months!!

I am very behind on this post! So sorry! Several weeks ago, we sent out 2 prepaid VISA gift cards. The first one was for baby Trent. He was born right before Christmas & was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension and had to be life-flighted to Toledo Hospital. We hope our gift card helped in some small way as his family cared for him. We are happy to report that Trent is home & doing great now!! Please continue to pray for his overall health and development!
The second gift card was for the family of Brady. Brady was diagnosed with cancer and has been traveling back and forth to Cleveland for his treatments. We are happy to report that he has finished radiation - YAY!!!! He continues to receive chemo every three weeks, but is doing well overall! Brady is such a fighter! Please pray for complete healing of his body & for him to be CANCER-FREE!!!

We love hearing about past R Angel families, but when we recently heard about a past family with ANOTHER sick child, our hearts were breaking. This time, their teenage child has been diagnosed with a brain tumor & cancer. He is currently undergoing treatment. Please pray for Adrian & his entire family as they go through this very difficult time! We know this situation from so many different angles now & we know how hard this must be! We sent them a gift card to help with some of the expenses of traveling back & forth to all his treatments - we pray this will help in some small way.
We also recently received a bunch of donations in memory of sweet baby Calla (previous post). This was so thoughtful of her family to think of R Angel as a place for donations. The Lord continues to provide for R Angel year after year & we are so thankful for being able to continue to help families in memory of Remi ❤️

We recently sent a gift card to the family of a little baby girl, Calla. Calla was born prematurely & spent her life in the NICU fighting for her life. What a fighter she was! Although sweet Calla passed away in her parents' arms after just a short 14 days, we know she touched so many lives in her short time on this earth. Please pray for Calla's parents & their families as they mourn the loss of Calla & attempt to pick up the pieces & move forward.

I am so behind but we have so many babies to pray for! Over the last month, we have sent prepaid VISA cards to 4 different families. One card was for my dear friend Chelsey & her little boy Charlie. Charlie has Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata (RCDP), which is a form of dwarfism. Charlie was in the hospital for surgery. He had a difficult time being extubated after surgery but I am SOOO happy to report that he is HOME now & doing amazing!! Please continue to pray for sweet Char because he continues to struggle day to day with RCDP.
The second one was for baby Levi. He was born at 32 weeks & was going to spend many weeks in the NICU. Please continue to pray for baby Levi as he grows big & strong!
The third one was for baby Casadie. Baby Casadie was born a twin & unfortunately lost her twin at birth. Please pray for this family as they mourn the loss of one baby while rejoicing in the birth of another baby, who had to spend time in the NICU on top of everything else.
The fourth one was for another sweet baby that was born a twin. One twin was in the NICU & sadly, the other twin passed away. Again, please pray for this family that is mourning the loss of one twin & caring for the other twin in the hospital.

We recently sent 2 gift cards to 2 families with babies in the hospital. The first one was for baby Claire. She is only 1 month old & was admitted to the hospital for RSV & bronchitis. She has since been discharged & we are so happy to hear she is doing well!!
The other gift card went to the family of baby Julian. He was born at 34 weeks & needed to spend some time in the NICU to allow his little body to get big enough & strong enough to come home.

A few weeks ago, we were notified of a family that had previously lost 2 babies to severe prematurity. At the beginning of December, they had another sweet baby, Jase. He was born at 34 weeks & had to stay in the NICU for quite some time to grow & develop. We recently sent them a VISA gift card to help pay for expenses they incurred while Jase was in the hospital. Please pray for this family & baby Jase!

We recently sent a prepaid VISA to the family of new twins. One twin has been transferred to Cincinnati Children's Hospital. The family is from Northwest Ohio & has another newborn to care for so you can imagine how difficult this must be. Yesterday, we delivered an R Angel basket of goodies & a prepaid VISA gift card to the family of baby Daniel. Daniel was born with Down syndrome & recently had to have surgery. He will be in the NICU for several weeks while he recovers. Please keep this sweet little baby & his family in your prayers!
On a side note - it was so great to see so many of Benzen's nurses while visiting the NICU yesterday. I love that they all still remember him & I was able to show them pictures & talk about what a little miracle our sweet boy really is. Brings back lots of memories of living in the hospital with him & with Remi, which just affirms why we do what we do. Thank you all for continuing to support R Angel financially & through prayers! We definitely couldn't do this without you!

Hello everyone! We are a little behind on our posts! This summer has been quite busy! A while back, we delivered a basket of food & goodies to the family of baby Anthony, who was born prematurely & will spend the first few months of his life in the hospital.
A few weeks ago, we delivered another basket of food & goodies to the NICU for the family of baby Brynlee, who was also born prematurely & spent several weeks in the hospital. We are happy to report that this sweet little peanut is now home & doing great!!
We recently sent several prepaid VISA gift cards to some families as well. One was for the family of baby Kinsley, who was born prematurely & her family was commuting back & forth to the hospital every day.
Another VISA was for the family of baby Hazel. Hazel was born with Down syndrome & will be undergoing heart surgery very soon! What a sweetheart she is!!
Another gift card went to a family of a little boy who was hospitalized for seizures & respiratory failure. The family was waiting on some further testing as well.
The last gift card went to the family of baby Connor. Connor also has Down syndrome & had to go back in the hospital for heart surgery but he is now home & doing great!!
We are so thankful for the good reports we have on some of these sweet babies! Please continue to pray for each & every one of these babies & their families! As always, thank you!!

We have 3 more families to keep in your prayers! The first is a family of a sweet baby girl born very early. She has been in the NICU for several weeks & will be there for a lot longer as she gets bigger & stronger. Please pray for this family as they travel back & forth to the hospital to be with their baby girl!
Please also add little Lola to your prayers! Lola was born with only one large heart chamber instead of 4 & was told she would need surgery between 6 months of age & 1 year old. She went in for heart surgery a few weeks ago & has had multiple complications since then. Please pray for the doctors & nurses that are caring for her, as well as her family during this difficult time!
Please also add little Cam to your prayers! He recently had surgery for a bowel obstruction, a hernia, and had his appendix removed. He has one more surgery scheduled. Please pray for this family as they try to comfort their sweet little boy during this difficult time!
We sent all 3 of these families prepaid VISA gift cards to help with the expenses of having a sick child in the hospital. Our hope is that this small gift helps to relieve some of the financial burden of living out of the hospital everyday. Thank you for your prayers & support!

At just 23 weeks gestation, baby Aila was born into this world. She has spent the past several weeks in the NICU & still has a very long road ahead of her. Her mother had to recover from her own complications from pregnancy but has been by her side every step of the way. Baby Aila has spent every day of her life so far fighting & we pray that she continues to do so until the day she gets to come home to her family! Please pray for Aila's health & healing and strength for her family during this difficult time. This morning, I delivered an R Angel basket of food & goodies, along with a prepaid VISA gift card, to the family of baby Connor. Baby Connor is in the hospital with pneumonia and RSV, but is slowly improving! Please pray for this family while their sweet boy is hospitalized & pray that he can come home very soon!!! Last week, we delivered a basket of food & goodies to the family of baby Walker, who was born at 32 weeks gestation & will be spending some time in the NICU. I was able to meet baby Walker & his mommy & talk with her about life in the NICU. She is driving over an hour to the hospital every day to be with her precious baby. Please pray for Walker's mom & dad as they wait for their sweet baby to get big enough & strong enough to join them at home!

We recently sent 2 VISA gift cards to the families of 2 little boys who are very sick. Dane is fighting cancer & has been in & out of the hospital. We pray this sweet boy can be home for Christmas! Owen is in the hospital fighting a bad virus in his brain. Please pray that he makes a full recovery from this & can also be home for Christmas!

Baby Maverick was in the hospital for issues with his insulin but has since been discharged & is doing well!
Baby Wyatt was in the ICU with a brain bleed, which required surgery, & his family was driving back & forth to the hospital daily. He has also been discharged to home & is doing well!
Baby Charlie was born with RCDP & has been in the NICU since birth. He is working hard to get home for Thanksgiving but has a long road ahead of him. He is definitely a little fighter!!
The last gift card went to another family of a baby in the NICU, but we do not have a name. This baby was set to be discharged & should be home by now as well.
Please pray for all these families and these sweet babies!! So thankful for those that are home for Thanksgiving & praying that baby Charlie gets to spend Thanksgiving at home with his family too!

Last week, we visited the NICU to deliver 2 baskets of goodies & prepaid gift cards to 2 sets of twins. Both sets of twins were born prematurely & have been in the hospital for several weeks already. We didn't get to meet either family - just dropped the baskets off so hopefully they were surprised :). Please pray for Brynn & Selah and Cowen & Callie as they finish their stay in the NICU. We hope that someday this difficult time will all just be a blur for them & that these babies get to come home soon!! Thank you!
