Last week, we visited the NICU to deliver 2 baskets of goodies & prepaid gift cards to 2 sets of twins. Both sets of twins were born prematurely & have been in the hospital for several weeks already. We didn't get to meet either family - just dropped the baskets off so hopefully they were surprised :). Please pray for Brynn & Selah and Cowen & Callie as they finish their stay in the NICU. We hope that someday this difficult time will all just be a blur for them & that these babies get to come home soon!! Thank you!

Sorry for the delay of this post. A few weeks ago, we sent an R Angel gift card to the family of a baby boy at Mott Children's who was having lots of heart issues. Sweet baby Ollie has since passed away & we are so sorry for this family's loss. Please join us in praying for them as they mourn the loss of their baby boy!
We also delivered 2 R Angel gift cards to 2 families staying with their babies in the hospital. One baby, Carson, was born prematurely & has to spend some time in the NICU but we hear he is doing very well!! Please pray that he gets to come home soon!
The second gift card was delivered to a mother in the PICU with her baby. We took an extra gift card to the hospital & asked the nurses if they had anyone that would benefit from an R Angel & they picked this family. Not sure why this little baby was in the hospital but we will pray for healing!
Thank you for continuing to support R Angel! It amazes us everyday how the donations alone to R Angel continue to keep us going! Without you, it wouldn't be possible to continue to do what we do :). THANK YOU!!

We recently sent 2 prepaid VISAs to 2 families that had premature babies in the NICU. Both families were traveling back & forth to the hospital daily to see their sweet babies. This can get very exhausting & expensive! We hope these gift cards helped in a small way. Please keep baby Arthur & baby Emersyn in your prayers! They are both home now & doing well but we know there will be lots of follow-up appointments to make sure they are growing and staying healthy!! Thanks for all your support!!

Hello everyone! I just realized I never posted about what we did on Ben's birthday this year, which was Decembet 23! Our entire family went up to Toledo Hospital & stocked the PICU waiting room with bathroom supplies for families staying at the hospital with their children. We also took several prepaid VISA gift cards & passed them out to families that the nurses told us would likely be there over Christmas. We went to the PICU, the NICU, the peds floor, & the Hematology/Oncology floor. It was nice to surprise these families & wish them a Merry Christmas!
Recently, we sent prepaid VISAs to 2 families. One family is in Tennessee & they had a premature baby who was going to be in the hospital for a while. The other family had a premature baby, Celinda, who was in the NICU. Please keep these families in your thoughts & prayers!

We recently delivered a basket of food & goodies to the family of baby Joey, who is in the PICU at Toledo Children's Hospital after getting very sick. Her family is staying around the clock with her at the hospital so we thought it might be helpful to have some food/snacks in her room. Eating at the hospital cafeteria can be expensive and sometimes you just don't want to leave your baby! I don't have an update on baby Joey but praying she will be home for Christmas!

Last week, we sent another gift card to the family of baby Roberto, who was born with Down Syndrome & had to be taken to Mott Children's Hospital for heart surgery. I know there are other children at home, which makes this situation that much more difficult. Please pray for baby Roberto & his family!

I am very behind on my posts - sorry! A few weeks ago, we sent out 3 more VISA gift cards. One went to the family of little baby Evelyn, who was born 6 weeks early by emergency c-section & had to go the NICU.
Another went to the family of a little girl that was in a car accident with her mom. The mom & little girl both ended up in the hospital, but in separate hospitals, so extended family was taking turns being with each of them. What a difficult situation for all!
The last gift card went to the family of twins, Alex & Max. When the twins were born, Max had to go to the NICU & Alex was able to go home. Due to all the viruses going around & NICU rules, it was difficult for mom to take Alex with her when she went to be with Max. Therefore, mom & dad took turns staying at the hospital & at home with each baby. Both twins are now home & doing great, so praise the Lord for that :)
All these stories just bring me back to when we spent so much time in the hospital with Remi & Benzen. It is so difficult living in the hospital, especially when you just want to take your child home. Please pray for all these families & all the other families that we don't know about! The holiday season is coming up very quickly & although I pray all the children can be home for the holidays, I know that's just not reality. So pray for their strength to get through these difficult days!
