Today, we sent a prepaid VISA to a family of a little baby girl, Teaghan, who was born prematurely. It looks like she will be in the hospital for several weeks as she gets bigger and stronger. Please keep Teaghan and her family in your thoughts and prayers, especially as her parents try to juggle their sweet little baby and other children at home. Our hope is that this gift card will help in some small way as they travel back and forth to the hospital to be with their baby.

Today, we took an R Angel basket of food and goodies to a family staying at the Toledo Children's Hospital after their 5 year old son, Jack, had a tumor removed from his brain. They will be staying at the hospital for a while with Jack, so we hope this basket of food will help them while they are there. Please keep Jack and his family in your thoughts and prayers!

We also sent an R Angel prepaid VISA gift card to a family of a little baby boy, Ridge, who was at The Toledo Hospital, but was recently transferred to U of M. His parents are taking turns staying with him at the hospital up there and traveling back and forth from their home to be with their other child. We are hoping the VISA gift card will help them pay for expenses they may have traveling back and forth, such as gas, food, etc. Please keep Ridge and his family in your thoughts and prayers as well!

We also restocked the shower room at the Toledo Children's Hospital with baskets of bathroom supplies, such as shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste/toothbrushes, deodorants, soap, laundry detergent, hairbrushes, etc. These baskets are available for any family member having to stay at the hospital with their child and using the shower room.

We have been very busy with R Angel lately! Thank you to everyone who has been letting us know of the families who may benefit from our fund!

Today, we delivered another basket of food and goodies to a family of a little boy named Joseph. Joseph was in a bad accident & his parents are staying with him at the hospital until he is able to recover. Please keep Joseph & his family in your thoughts and prayers! And please say a special prayer for Joseph's mother & her baby as she is about 7 months pregnant. This, of course, makes it even harder to live out of a hospital room, so we are hoping this basket will help in some small way!

Today, we delivered a basket of food, drinks, and bathroom supplies to a family of a little boy, Renard, who is in the hospital after an accident. His family is staying with him at the hospital & we were fortunate enough to get to meet his mom, aunt, and sister. They are wonderful people! Please keep them & especially Renard in your thoughts and prayers during his recovery!

We also restocked our baskets in the shower room with bathroom supplies, such as shampoo/conditioner, soap, brushes, toothpaste/toothbrushes, face wipes, deodorant, mouthwash, laundry detergent, and more. It seems as if these supplies are getting used because each time we go back, the baskets are empty. Our hope is that these R Angel deliveries are helping families in some small way as they go through these difficult times. Thank you to everyone who continues to donate to R Angel, which makes these deliveries possible!

The baby will be in the NICU for quite some time so hopefully the VISA gift card will help the parents with expenses for traveling back and forth to the hospital, food, etc. Please keep this family and all other families with children in the hospital in your thoughts and prayers! It can be so hard having your child in the hospital & just knowing that so many people are thinking of you and praying for you really does help a bit!

Tonight, we replaced the baskets in the shower room at Toledo Children's Hospital. When we arrived, all the baskets had been emptied so it appears people are using the supplies we are providing. This time, we put 12 baskets there filled with shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste/toothbrush, mouthwash, men's and women's deodorants, a compact brush, face wipes, and a small packet of laundry detergent. We know how difficult it is living at the hospital, especially when you weren't expecting it, so we hope these bathroom supplies continue to help families staying with their children. Thank you to all who have donated and continue to donate to R Angel, making things like this possible!

He is on oxygen, but is out of the ICU now and doing better. This family has another son at home so they have been taking turns traveling back and forth to the hospital and staying with Max. They live almost an hour from the hospital so it is quite a drive each time. Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers!

Today we sent 2 more R Angel VISAs. One was for a family that lives down in Dayton & their little baby boy, Callan, has a brain bleed and has been in the hospital for a while now. He is doing OK, but it sounds like they are going to be there for quite a while longer. We are hoping this gift will help them pay for expenses they may incur traveling back and forth to and from the hospital daily. The other is for a family that had twins prematurely. One twin has been discharged, but the other is still in the NICU. Please keep this little baby and Callan in your thoughts and prayers!

Today, we delivered 2 R Angel baskets of food and goodies to families at The Toledo Hospital. One was for a family with a newborn baby in the NICU & the other for a family with a little boy in the PICU. Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers!

We also made 7 baskets full of bathroom supplies, including shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, a toothbrush, mouthwash, and deodorant, and put them in the shower room on the children's floor at the hospital. This is the place where families can shower if they are staying at the hospital with their child. Hopefully, these baskets will be helpful for families using the shower room.

Today, we sent another R Angel prepaid VISA. This has been working well, especially for the babies/children that are at hospitals far away. Our hope is that the families are able to use the prepaid VISAs to help pay for food or other expenses while staying at the hospital. We wish we could hand deliver a basket of goodies to all families, but that is hard when they are so far away. So, for now, we hope the VISAs will help. We recently learned of a little baby boy, Preston, who was born with transposition of the great arteries and had to have heart surgery last week at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. He was only a few days old at the time of surgery, but we have been told that he is doing very well. Please keep Preston and his family in your thoughts and prayers! If you know of anyone who may benefit from R Angel, please email us at rangelremi@gmail.com.
