Today, we sent another prepaid VISA gift card to a family that had a premature baby. The baby will be in the NICU for quite some time so hopefully the VISA gift card will help the parents with expenses for traveling back and forth to the hospital, food, etc. Please keep this family and all other families with children in the hospital in your thoughts and prayers! It can be so hard having your child in the hospital & just knowing that so many people are thinking of you and praying for you really does help a bit!

Tonight, we replaced the baskets in the shower room at Toledo Children's Hospital. When we arrived, all the baskets had been emptied so it appears people are using the supplies we are providing. This time, we put 12 baskets there filled with shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste/toothbrush, mouthwash, men's and women's deodorants, a compact brush, face wipes, and a small packet of laundry detergent. We know how difficult it is living at the hospital, especially when you weren't expecting it, so we hope these bathroom supplies continue to help families staying with their children. Thank you to all who have donated and continue to donate to R Angel, making things like this possible!

Today, we sent an R Angel VISA to a family with a little boy, Max. Max has been in the hospital for a few days now with pneumonia and another infection. He is on oxygen, but is out of the ICU now and doing better. This family has another son at home so they have been taking turns traveling back and forth to the hospital and staying with Max. They live almost an hour from the hospital so it is quite a drive each time. Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers!

Today, we sent a basket of food and goodies to family friends that are staying at Cincinnati Children's Hospital with their 4 year old son, Ricky, who has SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy). He now has RSV and is going to be in the hospital for a little while until he can get well enough to come home. We sent his parents some food and drinks to have while staying at the hospital, as well as some goodies for Ricky's sisters to keep them busy when visiting. Please keep Ricky and his entire family in your thoughts and prayers!

Today we sent 2 more R Angel VISAs. One was for a family that lives down in Dayton & their little baby boy, Callan, has a brain bleed and has been in the hospital for a while now. He is doing OK, but it sounds like they are going to be there for quite a while longer. We are hoping this gift will help them pay for expenses they may incur traveling back and forth to and from the hospital daily. The other is for a family that had twins prematurely. One twin has been discharged, but the other is still in the NICU. Please keep this little baby and Callan in your thoughts and prayers!

Today, we delivered 2 R Angel baskets of food and goodies to families at The Toledo Hospital. One was for a family with a newborn baby in the NICU & the other for a family with a little boy in the PICU. Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers!
We also made 7 baskets full of bathroom supplies, including shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, a toothbrush, mouthwash, and deodorant, and put them in the shower room on the children's floor at the hospital. This is the place where families can shower if they are staying at the hospital with their child. Hopefully, these baskets will be helpful for families using the shower room.

Today, we sent another R Angel prepaid VISA. This has been working well, especially for the babies/children that are at hospitals far away. Our hope is that the families are able to use the prepaid VISAs to help pay for food or other expenses while staying at the hospital. We wish we could hand deliver a basket of goodies to all families, but that is hard when they are so far away. So, for now, we hope the VISAs will help. We recently learned of a little baby boy, Preston, who was born with transposition of the great arteries and had to have heart surgery last week at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. He was only a few days old at the time of surgery, but we have been told that he is doing very well. Please keep Preston and his family in your thoughts and prayers! If you know of anyone who may benefit from R Angel, please email us at rangelremi@gmail.com.
