We were recently contacted by a student from St. John's school because he had to do a service project & wanted to volunteer for R Angel. So, we took him with us to buy food and goodies for a basket & tons of bathroom supplies to replenish the shower room at The Toledo Hospital. We went to the hospital and were able to speak with some of Remi's nurses and one of them, our dear friend Cassie :), showed us to a family in need at the hospital. The baby boy has neuroblastoma & we were able to meet his family and deliver a basket of food and goodies to them. It was an amazing experience to surprise them & we are so thankful they allowed us to come into their room & meet their sweet little boy. Please keep this baby and his family in your prayers, especially during this holiday season!
We also delivered 13 baskets of bathroom supplies to the nurses in the PICU to hand out to families who may need them during their stay at the hospital with their child. Thank you to Malcolm for helping us make some R Angel deliveries today & thank you to all the nurses at The Toledo Hospital PICU for continuing to support R Angel & helping us help families!
