We recently sent 2 more prepaid VISAs to 2 very special families. One went to the family of baby Hannah, who was born at just 31 weeks, weighing only 2 lbs. 15 oz. She is going to be in the NICU for several weeks so please pray for baby Hannah & her family during this difficult time. The parents are doing a lot of driving back & forth to the hospital because they also have a son at home, & we know how difficult that makes things.
The other gift card went to the parents of little David. David recently passed away from drowning and was only 2 1/2 years old. His parents kept him on life support for a short while to preserve his organs for donating. What an amazing, selfless thing to do in the midst of such tragedy. Please pray for David's family as they mourn the loss of their little boy.

We recently sent 2 prepaid VISAs to families with babies that were in the hospital. One was for a little baby Evan who was in the hospital for several weeks with Meningitis. He is now home but please pray for his recovery & for him to remain healthy!
The other VISA was for a friend of mine whose little boy, Lucas, was in the NICU for severe jaundice & anemia. His mom had several fetal blood transfusions while she was pregnant and was able to carry him almost full term. Lucas is now home but is still having issues with anemia so please keep him in your prayers!

This week, we sent two R Angel prepaid VISAs. One was for friends of our family and their new baby Colton. Colton was born prematurely and spent several weeks in the NICU. He was actually there when we were so we were able to meet him soon after he was born. Such a cutie! Colton is now home and doing well. Our gift card was a little late, but we are hoping that his parents can use it for gas for doctor's appointments or to help a little with some medical bills, etc.
The other gift card was for the family of Logan, a little baby who was born with his heart on the wrong side of his chest. He was transferred up to Michigan for heart surgery, but was having many complications. I found out today that he is being removed from life support and probably isn't going to make it. So, please keep this family in your prayers during this very difficult time. We know all too well how hard it can be to go through something like this, so our hearts ache for them.
Please keep Colton and his family in your thoughts and prayers as well as Logan and his family! Thank you!

Well, we are actually in the NICU at Toledo Children's Hospital ourselves. We had a baby boy, Benzen, one week ago & he has CMV so we have to stay here for 6 weeks to give him an IV medication. Anyways, I bought an R Angel gift card for a family staying in the NICU with their son who was born at 31 weeks gestation. I hadn't had a chance to send it with all that we've had going on so today, I walked it down to their room :) Please keep baby Noah in your thoughts and prayers as he grows big & strong! Hopefully, they get to go home soon!

Today, we sent a prepaid VISA to a family whose son, Matthew, has a tumor on his spine. He is in a lot of pain and has been traveling back and forth to The Cleveland Clinic to get treatment. We hope this small gift card will help with some of their travel expenses. Please pray for Matthew and his pain, as well as his family as they all go through this difficult time!
SACC Helps Out R Angel
Last Saturday, students from Swanton Area Community Coalition joined together to help make baskets and deliver food to the Toledo Children's Hospital for families staying there with their children. They put together several baskets with bathroom supplies and stocked the waiting room with snacks and goodies for families to eat. Thanks so much for all your help!
