Hello everyone!  We are a little behind on our posts!  This summer has been quite busy!  A while back, we delivered a basket of food & goodies to the family of baby Anthony, who was born prematurely & will spend the first few months of his life in the hospital.

A few weeks ago, we delivered another basket of food & goodies to the NICU for the family of baby Brynlee, who was also born prematurely & spent several weeks in the hospital. We are happy to report that this sweet little peanut is now home & doing great!!

We recently sent several prepaid VISA gift cards to some families as well. One was for the family of baby Kinsley, who was born prematurely & her family was commuting back & forth to the hospital every day.

Another VISA was for the family of baby Hazel. Hazel was born with Down syndrome & will be undergoing heart surgery very soon!  What a sweetheart she is!!

Another gift card went to a family of a little boy who was hospitalized for seizures & respiratory failure. The family was waiting on some further testing as well.

The last gift card went to the family of baby Connor. Connor also has Down syndrome & had to go back in the hospital for heart surgery but he is now home & doing great!!

We are so thankful for the good reports we have on some of these sweet babies!  Please continue to pray for each & every one of these babies & their families!  As always, thank you!!

  4. We are truly humbled by your generosity. Thank you!! What an amazing group you have. Sadly I am just getting around to officially thanking you for the gift card. My son, Simon, is now 7 months old and doing well. It was a foggy 6 months but the fog is lifting. Simon was in and out of the hospital his first 6 weeks of life with no diagnosis. At 6 weeks he was admitted to the PICU for seizures and respiratory failure. He spent 7 days on life support then another 8 in the PICU. It was a very scary time. During our stay he was diagnosed with 22q11 deletion syndrome. Basically he is missing parts of his 22nd chromosome. This syndrome has the potential to affect every part of his body, including his precious little mind. It's a wait and see syndrome...for the rest of his life. In October he had heart surgery to repair the heart defect that is typical with this syndrome. It went beautifully! I am now living in a world I never thought I would, I am now a medical mama. It’s overwhelming and people tell me I’m strong, but anyone in my shoes would be just as strong. When you’re a parent you just “do”. We've had a lot of love, support and prayers for little Simon and we couldn’t be more grateful. We take it day-by-day and celebrate every milestone. Thank you for your love, support, and prayers. xo
